Early Production Facilities

RDL completed commissioning of the process plant on the 15th December 2011 by introducing gas from La-105 into the plant.

Gas was introduced to the export pipeline for purging and to pack the pipeline with gas.

In December the first 4km of pipeline was commissioned and gas delivered.

A further ca. 3km of pipeline has been installed and buried on route to central Douala

In January, VOG had 3 construction teams working to deliver trenching, installation and back fill rates of up to 120m day.

The Company expects to be delivering gas to customers in central Douala from April 2012.

Pressure reduction & metering stations (PRMSs) at customer plant gates

Pressure reduction and metering stations are being installed at each of the customer sites (the custody transfer point between RDL and the customer).

So far three PRMSs are in country and a further 6 units will arrive shortly. These are bespoke units.

Each PRMS drops the pressure to the customer’s acceptance requirements and communicates the volumes of gas taken to the control room of the production facilities.

Work continues on scoping out all customer requirements between the PRMS units and customer burners.

Conversion works and tie- in to the gas distribution network is ongoing for customers at Magzi Estate and in Central Douala. Each customer will have duel fuel gas and HFO (or similar)burners in place
