Trenching and laying on route to Magzi Industrial Estate

Work on the Phase I gas distribution network which will deliver gas to the Magzi Estate and then on to Central Douala, commenced on the 15th July 2011.

More than 1.5km of pipe is either in the ground or jointed waiting trenching.

All buried pipe (approx. 1km) has been back filled and pneumatically tested

The total distance from the well head to our first customers is approximately 4.5 km away. In the background is the first customer on the Magzi Estate.

Stripping, inspection and reassembly of all valves on 105 and 106 Christmas trees has been completed and both trees have been successfully hydro- tested for leaks.

Drilling of all 36 of the foundation holes for the processing plant have been completed and concrete poured, which is going through the curing process.

The process plant de-sander units have been delivered to site and the high pressure pipes from the trees to the units are being welded for connection.

 

Expro’s process plant vessels, flow lines and equipment are being tested at their base and will be brought to site on skid mounted units as the concrete pads are cured.
